Job summary

Careerwise seeks an SAP Architect to lead a global S/4HANA transformation. You will shape enterprise and functional architecture across the SAP landscape, aligning with business strategy and long-term transformation goals.

You will drive integration design across SAP and non-SAP systems, set governance standards, and partner with business lines to optimise processes in cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as SAP Solution/Enterprise Architect on large-scale S/4HANA transformations.
• Strong expertise in SAP functional architecture across FI/CO and related modules.
• Experience with global, complex landscapes and SAP/non-SAP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into SAP enterprise and functional architecture and solution design.
• Design and optimise end-to-end business processes within SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Define target-state architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and SuccessFactors and govern adherence.
• Lead integration architecture design including API strategies and messaging patterns.
• Ensure cohesive integration across SAP and non-SAP systems in on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.

Job description

SAP Architect required by a global company to join its global technology team on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The role covers enterprise and functional architecture across the SAP landscape, aligned with business strategy, integration principles and long-term transformation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into SAP enterprise and functional architecture and solution design, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Design and optimise end-to-end business processes, aligning functional and technical solutions.
• Define and maintain the target-state enterprise architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors and other systems.
• Establish and enforce architectural governance, standards and review processes across programmes and domains.
• Lead integration architecture design, including API strategies and integration patterns.
• Ensure integration across SAP and non-SAP systems in on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.

Required experience and skills:

• Extensive experience as an SAP Solution/Enterprise Architect on large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise in SAP functional architecture.
• SAP S/4HANA modules: FI, CO, AA, MM, SD, SAP Accounting Integration, MDG.
• Experience working in complex, global system landscapes with extensive SAP and non-SAP integration.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API design and messaging systems.
• Ability to align architecture with business strategy, data, security and compliance requirements.
