Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Architect in Germany to design and govern end-to-end SAP solutions that align with business processes and enterprise standards. You will bridge business stakeholders, project teams, and technical architects to deliver scalable, integrated SAP deployments across multiple modules.

Responsibilities include leading workshops, guiding lifecycle activities, and mentoring consultants, solution architects, and technical staff to ensure quality and compliance

Your Role

The Cross Functional SAP Solution Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering end-to-end SAP business solutions that align with, business process requirements and enterprise architecture standards. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical architects to ensure scalable, integrated, and compliant SAP solutions across multiple functional domains. The role should be able to work/co-ordinate across the multiple functional teams like Finance/Logistics to ensure that all aspect of the solutions including business process, system design and integration strategy. The role should be able to work as SAP cross functional solution lead in the S/4 Hana transformation program in template implementation and rollout.

The architect provides leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, including strategy, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA best practices. The role should have good knowledge about S/4 Hana transformation program, Template, Rollout and also application support processes.

Required

• Should be able to work on End-to-End processes aligned with business processes. Design and integrate business processes across modules.
• Should have expertise in one or more SAP modules but exposure to multiple modules in SAP will be needed for alignment with multiple modules.
• Should be able to lead the solution design workshop in alignment with SAP best practices to meet the business requirements.
• Should have done multiple SAP implementations including template and rollout. Should have experience of SAP S/4 Hana transformation program mainly Greenfield where template design and rollout have been done.
• Should have good understanding of SAP project Management like SAP Activate methodology or S4 Hana transformation program methodology.
• Should be able to Partner with business stakeholders and IT leadership to translate strategic objectives into functional and technical SAP roadmaps
• Should be able to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend industry best practices.
• Should be able to do stakeholder management with client business leaders, process owners and project managers.
• Provide guidance to project team members throughout all project phases as and when needed. Mentor functional consultants, solution architects, and technical teams; review designs and configurations for quality and compliance.
• Should have high level understanding of various SAP solutions like SAP Signavio, SAP Solman/Cloud ALM, SPAP BTP, SAP AI/Joule, SAP FIORI etc. Also Stay current on SAP innovations (S/4 Hana, Rise with SAP, AI/ML capabilities) and assess relevant to the client organization.
• Should be able Support pre-sales/RFP, business case development wherever applicable.

Preferred

• Rich experience in SAP implementation, consulting, or enterprise architecture roles, with at least 3+ years working as a SAP solution architect.
• Proven experience leading full-lifecycle SAP implementations, upgrades, or S/4HANA transformations (greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid).
• Experience designing solutions within complex, multi-system landscapes, including third-party and cloud integrations.
• Demonstrated breadth across multiple SAP functional modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM) with the ability to architect cross-module solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business needs, technical constraints, and long-term scalability.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology experience or equivalent structured implementation approach.
• Exposure to SAP business AI/Joule
