Overview

Exciting Technical Sales Contract in the Electronics Industry! We’re seeking a Sales Support Engineer (Contract) to join a globally respected technology company, supporting customers across Europe as they purchase innovative electronic solutions online.

This is your chance to combine your technical expertise with online sales support, helping engineers and businesses choose the right products through the company’s e-commerce platform.

Location: Böblingen (near Stuttgart) – Hybrid working available (fully remote considered)

Responsibilities

• Qualify incoming customer sales leads and identify opportunities
• Support customers through the e-commerce ordering process
• Provide technical guidance on product selection (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment)
• Help customers compare options and make informed purchasing decisions
• Close webshop orders while ensuring excellent customer service
• Pass qualified opportunities to Partner Account Managers where relevant

Qualifications

• Technical background in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field
• Fluent German (essential for customer interactions) English (B2) min
• Strong communication skills and confidence in customer conversations
• Experience or interest in technical sales / pre-sales engineering
• Proactive, customer-focused attitude with the ability to explain complex products simply
