• 3–5 years of sales experience in Animal Nutrition.
• Established network with integrators and feed producers in the region.
• Strong business development, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Highly autonomous; able to work in an international matrix.
• Polish native; fluent English; Russian or other Slavic language a plus.

Job Description

Sales Manager Eastern Europe – Animal Nutrition

Location: Poland

ADM has an exciting opportunity available for a proactive and technically skilled Sales Manager to lead and accelerate the growth of our animal nutrition business in Poland and neighboring countries. As a key commercial role in one of the largest markets in Europe, you will be responsible for building our presence, driving new business and maximizing customer value in close cooperation with the ADM Animal Nutrition team, and other ADM business units.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong technical animal nutrition expertise and a hunter mentality. You will manage direct B2B business with integrators, premixers and feedmillers and reviewing and growing a distributor network (B2D) in the region.

The role is based in one of ADM sites in Poland with extensive travel requirements within the region and reports to the Sales Director East Europe based in Switzerland.

The main duties of this role will include:

• Establish and develop long-term relationships with B2B players with strong focus on monogastric / poultry players
• Identify and develop a strong sales pipeline for ADM’s feed additives, specialties premixes for B2B customers only
• Develop and manage a network of distributors as needed (specialties and on-farm solutions)
• Create and execute a 3-5 year Business Plan for sustainable market expansion.
• Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights
• Develop customer concepts in cooperation with product management, application and product development
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity
• Collaborate closely with and provide feedback to internal departments: incl. technical support, customer service, product management, marketing and finance.
• Work with other ADM business units active in the market, to maximize customer value, strengthen ADM’s overall market presence, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Flexible and willing to travel extensively (50%+) across the region#IncludingYou

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelors in Agricultural or Agro Engineering + Masters, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Business educational background with technical practical background
• Knowledge of animal nutrition, the role of feed additives and animal physiology
• At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the Animal Nutrition
• An existing network with main integrators and feed producers in the region
• Strong business development spirit, and ability to open new markets and build business from the ground up.
• Solid negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly autonomous, organized, and able to work within an international (remote) matrix environment.
• Polish mother tongue, excellent English language skills (written and spoken). Russian or other Slavic language a plus
