Job summary

Lingua Learn is seeking a freelance Russian language teacher to conduct online lessons for adults and kids ranging from complete beginners to CEFR C1. The sessions may be conducted in English, so a strong English command is required (B1+).

The successful candidate must hold a degree-level education with an accredited teaching qualification and at least 5 years of experience in teaching language. Experience in assessing four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), preferably using CEFR

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Russian and have excellent command of English (B1+).
• Degree-level education with an accredited teaching qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of language teaching experience.
• Experience in assessing students’ proficiency in all four skills using CEFR references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online Russian language lessons to adults and children (A1–C1).
• Assess students’ proficiency across listening, reading, writing and speaking.
• Adapt materials to CEFR levels and individual learner needs.
• Utilize Zoom or similar online teaching platforms effectively.

Job description

Lingua Learn requires a freelance Russian language teacher to teach online.

The students will be adults and kids ranging in levels from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1). Lessons may be delivered in English, so an excellent command of English is also required (B1 minimum).

The successful candidate must be educated to a degree level with an accredited teaching qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching language. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in assessing students’ language proficiency in all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), preferably using CEFR Levels as a reference.
