Job summary

Lingua Learn is seeking a freelance Mandarin language teacher to deliver online lessons to adults and kids, from complete beginners to CEFR C1.

Excellent command of English (B1 minimum) is required, along with an accredited teaching qualification, a degree, and a minimum of five years’ teaching experience.

Experience assessing students across listening, reading, writing and speaking using CEFR levels and online platforms such as Zoom is essential for this remote role.

Job description

Lingua Learn requires a freelance Mandarin language teacher to teach online.

The students will be adults and kids ranging in levels from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1). Lessons may be delivered in English, so an excellent command of English is also required (B1 minimum).

The successful candidate must be educated to a degree level with an accredited teaching qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching language. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in assessing students’ language proficiency in all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), preferably using CEFR Levels as a reference.
