Job summary

Lingua Learn is seeking a freelance Arabic language teacher to conduct online lessons for adults and children. The candidate must have an accredited teaching qualification, a degree, and at least five years of experience in language instruction. Proficiency in assessing all four language skills using CEFR as reference is preferred.

Lessons may be conducted in English, so strong English is required. This remote role welcomes a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an accredited teaching qualification and a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of language teaching experience.
• Experience assessing language proficiency across all four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
• Excellent command of English (B1 minimum).
• Experience teaching both adults and kids; CEFR reference encouraged.

• Teach online Arabic lessons to adults and children.

• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities.

Job description

Lingua Learn requires a freelance Arabic language teacher to teach online.

The students will be adults and kids ranging in levels from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1). Lessons may be delivered in English, so an excellent command of English is also required (B1 minimum).

The successful candidate must be educated to a degree level with an accredited teaching qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching language. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in assessing students’ language proficiency in all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), preferably using CEFR Levels as a reference.

• Familiarity with using online teaching platforms (especially Zoom)
