Zusammenfassung

AVILUS in Germany is seeking an experienced UAV test pilot to join our team. You will be responsible for preparation, organization, execution, and follow-up of flight tests for a UAV program with MTOM up to 700 kg, remotely operating the aircraft and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires hands-on flight experience, a degree in mechanical, aerospace or electrical engineering, and an Ü2-Sabotageschutz security clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree: Completed or ongoing in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or comparable programs.
• Experience: Practical experience in manual UAV flight.
• Aptitude Test: Positive result in assessment during application process.
• Security clearance: Ü2-Sabotageschutz approval required.

Do you want to work on a New Class of Unmanned Aircraft? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.

Are you an experienced and skilled drone pilot with a high sense for responsibility, a technical background, and a passion for team play? Become a professional UAV test pilot and take over responsibility for preparation, organization, execution, and follow-up work on our flight tests. You will be responsible to remotely operate our aircraft and be one of the few on this planet to fly a UAV with an MTOM of 700 kg.
