Description

Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take‑off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimension of 8 m: the hexacopter Grill e for medical evacuation, the multi‑role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, and the fixed‑wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCor e, our highly redundant, military‑grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.

Have you ever dreamed of being an architect – but not for buildings? Have you ever wanted to conduct an orchestra – but not an instrumental ensemble? If you got curious now about this job posting, you made it half the way, being the perfect candidate. As a Systems Engineer at AVILUS, you design and develop system architectures for our unmanned aerial vehicles in the category of several hundreds of kilograms and for our ground control segments. You’ll ensure that all components ‘play and sing’ together to satisfy the designated requirements – from customer until certification. In close collaboration with neighboring disciplines, you’ll cover all relevant aspects from safety assessment, and functions development, to safety‑critical embedded software development for airborne systems.
