Revolut in Berlin is seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel to advise on compliance and legal issues around our financial features. You will influence how we structure products while staying compliant, balancing speed with protection.

You will draft customer-facing documents, engage regulators across Europe, and help structure new features as regulations evolve, ensuring robust governance and business growth.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years PQE in financial regulation.
• Experience advising on financial regulations in Germany and the EEA.
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English and German.

About The Role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term. We’re looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel in Germany to advise on compliance and legal issues around our financial features. The breadth of work you’ll encounter (and level of commercial involvement) is pretty unique for an in‑house role, so you’ll have a large degree of responsibility for Revolut’s ongoing development and growth. What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding structuring of new and existing financial products (payments and banking)
• Drafting customer‑facing legal documents for these products
• Helping to structure and expand features while managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
• Engaging and working alongside European and local regulators
• Combining functional expertise with a results‑driven approach
• Handling significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of PQE
• Excellent academic credentials
• Experience advising on financial regulations in Germany and EEA‑wide financial regulations
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence making decisions where there’s ambiguity or incomplete information
• Experience with PSD2 and CRD
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluency in English and German
