DSR Hotel Holding GmbH Hamburg is seeking a Regional Technical Manager South (m/f/d) to lead technical operations for Süd Hotels. You will guide technical management teams, oversee maintenance plans, and ensure cost‑effective, compliant facilities across the southern portfolio.

The role requires a technical qualification with leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage external providers. Travel within the region and a valid driving licence are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical training with master craftsman or technician qualification or technical degree.
• Several years' experience in technical building management, preferably in hospitality or property sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of technical building systems and maintenance/inspection requirements.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing service providers and budgets.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CAFM knowledge is advantageous.

• Ensure safe, legally compliant and cost‑effective technical building operations.
• Monitor maintenance, inspections, expert assessments, operators' obligations and technical documentation.
• Prepare and update maintenance, investment and budget plans.
• Coordinate maintenance, refurbishment and optimisation measures.
• Manage and supervise external specialist firms and facility management providers.
• Support in faults/incidents and liaise with hotel management.
• Report technical risks, costs, deadlines and outstanding measures to Head Office/Technical Director.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing expert guidance and support to the technical management teams at the Süd Hotels under our care
• Ensuring safe, legally compliant and cost-effective technical building operations
• Monitoring of maintenance, inspections, expert assessments, operators' obligations and technical documentation
• Preparation and updating of maintenance, investment and budget plans
• Technical and cost-effectiveness assessment of quotations and measures
• Coordination of maintenance, refurbishment and optimisation measures
• Management and supervision of external specialist firms and facility management service providers
• Providing support in the event of faults and incidents, as well as regular liaison with hotel management
• Reporting on technical risks, costs, deadlines and outstanding measures to the Head Office / Technical Director

You will have:

• Completed technical training with further training to become a master craftsman or technician, a technical degree or equivalent qualification
• Several years' professional experience in technical building management, ideally in the hotel or property sector
• In-depth knowledge of technical building systems and the relevant operational, maintenance and inspection requirements
• Experience in leading technical teams, managing service providers and budget planning
• A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
• A strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills and the ability to get things done
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAFM would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel and a Category B driving licence
