A-ROSA Resorts Travemünde is seeking a Dedicated Deputy Head of Evening Service to lead the team and ensure outstanding service at the Baltic coast resort. You will guide staff, act as a host during evening service, and support the manager with stock and promotions.

The role emphasizes guest-focused service, leadership, and the ability to drive sales while upholding quality standards across the restaurant and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship as hotel or restaurant manager; relevant professional hospitality experience.
• Good command of English and guest-focused service mindset.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to convey to guests and staff.
• High level of professional expertise to coach colleagues.
• Goal-oriented and responsible approach; strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional guidance and supervision to staff and trainees.
• Participate in the restaurant’s service operations as a host.
• Assist the evening service manager with monthly stock-take.
• Work with the management team to implement trends and F&B promotions.
• Advise guests on resort offerings and actively promote them.
• Share responsibility for achieving budgeted turnover targets.
• Carry out administrative tasks and monitor service standards.
• Stand in for the evening service manager in their absence.

• You will be responsible for providing professional guidance and supervision to staff and trainees.
• You will play an active part in the restaurant’s service operations as a host.
• You will assist the evening service manager in carrying out the monthly stock-take.
• You will work with the evening service management team to implement trends and F&B promotions.
• You will act as a host, advising our guests on the resort’s offerings and products and actively promoting them.
• You will share responsibility for achieving the budgeted turnover targets.
• You carry out administrative tasks.
• You monitor and ensure compliance with service standards.
• You will stand in for the evening service manager in their absence.

• A completed apprenticeship as a hotel or restaurant manager and relevant professional experience in the hospitality industry
• Ideally, you will have sommelier qualifications and be qualified to act as a trainer
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm that you can convey to your guests, colleagues and staff
• A high level of professional expertise that you can pass on to your colleagues
