Job summary

Staycity Germany is seeking a Regional Operations Director to oversee all operational aspects across our German locations and the 2027 Warsaw opening. The role requires strategic leadership, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to outstanding guest experiences and financial performance.

Based in Germany with frequent travel, you will partner with General Managers to drive efficiency, growth, and cross-property collaboration, ensuring high standards across all hospitality functions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of multi-property leadership experience in hospitality.
• Proven track record in operational success and growth.
• Extensive F&B program management and event operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Managers and local leaders to align with Staycity’s vision.
• Develop budgets, forecast performance, and drive revenue and profitability.
• Oversee diverse F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, and events.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, F&B, and HR teams to enhance brand value.
• Analyze guest feedback and audits to improve service quality across accommodations, F&B, and events.
• Lead new property openings with operational readiness and brand standards.

We are now seeking to hire a Regional Operations Director for Staycity, covering our Staycity Germany locations, and our exciting 2027 opening in Warsaw, Poland. You will oversee all operational aspects across both hotels, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance. This role requires strategic leadership, proactive problem-solving, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards across all areas of operation. This role will ideally be based from Germany, and will involve frequent travel. CVs are to be submitted in English only.

• Experience: At least 5 years of multi-property leadership experience as a Regional Operations Director, with a proven track record of operational success and fostering growth in a hospitality-focused organization.
• Career Background: A blend of corporate experience in early career stages and entrepreneurial leadership in independent restaurants, bars, and event operations, showcasing adaptability and innovation.
• F&B Expertise: Extensive experience managing high-profile F&B programs, including concept development for restaurants and bars, culinary excellence, and large-scale event execution.
• Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of European hospitality markets, with fluency or native-level proficiency in German.
• Financial Acumen: Demonstrated success in exceeding financial targets and driving operational efficiency across diverse hospitality functions, particularly in F&B profitability.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of inspiring teams, driving engagement, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
• Innovative Mindset: A solutions-focused approach with a passion for innovation, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering world‑class guest experiences.

• Operational Excellence: Provide ongoing support to new and existing locations, ensuring consistent quality, operational efficiency, and adaptability to market trends.
• Talent Development: Collaborate with HR to attract top talent, foster career development, and cultivate a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
• Innovation in F&B: Identify opportunities to enhance menus, beverage programs, and event concepts, exceeding customer expectations and meeting market demands.
• Market Positioning: Leverage industry expertise to position properties as leading destinations for dining, hospitality, and memorable event experiences.
