Receptionist (m/f/d) in morning and late shift

We, a 3* hotel in the centre of Berlin, are looking for a receptionist to strengthen our team. With relevant professional experience in the hotel industry, a career change is possible.

Your varied tasks

• You will be responsible for regularly checking in and out guests at the reception desk in shifts.
• You will manage the daily room scheduling. You will maintain reservation programs with blocking dates/rate changes.
• You will take and process hotel guest orders and requests.
• You will prepare quotations for corporate events and private functions in consultation with management and take individual and group bookings.
• Your daily tasks will include processing and writing correspondence (German, English), creating invoices, maintaining and clearing the cash register.

Your profile as a receptionist (m/f/d) in the morning and late shift

• You have a vocational qualification as a hotel specialist or hotel clerk OR first professional experience in the hotel industry, e.g. as a hotel clerk, EBA hotel employee, receptionist, receptionist, receptionist,
• Your very good knowledge of the German language at least at C1 level (professional language proficiency) is a prerequisite for communicating with our guests.
• As we also receive many international guests, a good knowledge of English at least at B2 level (independent use of the language) is also a prerequisite.
• Your profile is complemented by a friendly, helpful and service-oriented demeanour and the ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ideally you have a good knowledge of Protel or other hotel software. You are proficient in common Microsoft Office programs.

We offer secure employment in a friendly team. Extensive training on our operational procedures and systems is included. You will receive free soft drinks and meals each day during working hours. Standard weekly working hours are 40 hours and are managed by the company's time recording system. Annual timesheets ensure transparency and fairness and that overtime can be reimbursed. You get 25 days holiday per year and an annual salary of €27,600 gross to €30,000 gross.
