Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an R&D Lab & Instrumentation Technician, where you will provide hands-on support for R&D laboratory operations and instrumentation. In this role, you will help ensure that analytical instruments, materials, samples, and data acquisition workflows are ready for reliable and reproducible measurements. Working closely with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to efficient laboratory operations, instrument readiness, development activities, and the rollout of new solutions.
The R&D Lab & Instrumentation Technician supports daily laboratory operations by ensuring instruments, materials, and workflows are ready for reliable data generation. This role focuses on routine instrument support, solution preparation, data acquisition assistance, and documentation, enabling scientists and engineers to produce high-quality, reproducible results in a safe and efficient laboratory environment. This is an on-site Bremen role that includes regular work in the R&D lab and, when required, line‑side support in production test areas during iterative development rollouts.
Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent (minimum 3 years) hands‑on laboratory experience in a routine analytical chemistry laboratory.
