Zusammenfassung

Vaillant GmbH in Remscheid is seeking a QA Specialist (m/f/d) to advance the testing strategy for our Digital Solutions Platform and its products. You will collaborate with product teams to standardize QA processes, plan comprehensive test cycles across frontend, integration, Salesforce, SAP, and backend systems, and drive test automation with SIT/UAT coverage.

Fluency in English and German is required, and a degree in CS or related fields is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in CS, BSc in IT-related field or equivalent; ISTQB certification advantageous.
• Experience in test management, quality assurance, or ensuring quality of digital products.
• Knowledge of the full software testing lifecycle: unit, API, integration, contract, and UAT; hands-on with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress; Jira XRAY.

• As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for the further development and implementation of a comprehensive quality and testing strategy for our Digital Solutions Platform and its products


• Working closely with multiple product teams, you will establish standardized QA processes and ensure end-to-end quality assurance across frontend, integration, Salesforce, SAP, and other backend solutions


• Through close collaboration with QA Engineers, developers, IT colleagues, and business stakeholders, you will plan and coordinate comprehensive test cycles throughout the entire development lifecycle


• Your expertise will ensure that testing activities, ranging from System Integration Testing (SIT) to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), are carried out efficiently, with a high degree of automation and quality


• You will establish effective defect management practices, prioritize quality risks together with the teams, and consistently drive sustainable solutions forward


• As part of an experienced technology environment, you will help shape modern quality standards and make a significant contribution to the success of our digital transformation

• Qualification: You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification; certifications such as ISTQB are considered an advantage


• Experience: You have experience in test management, quality assurance, or ensuring the quality of digital products


• Knowledge and Skills: You possess a solid understanding of the entire software testing lifecycle, including unit, API, integration, contract, and user acceptance testing. In addition, you have hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, as well as tools such as Jira XRAY


• Nice to Have: Experience in performance testing of enterprise applications, as well as exposure to Salesforce, SAP, or highly integrated platform environments, is a plus


• Personality: You stand out through your analytical mindset, strong quality focus, ability to deliver results, and talent for aligning diverse stakeholders around shared quality objectives.


• Language Skills: You communicate confidently and effectively in both English and German
