Following the award of a major new semiconductor project in Dresden, Germany, we are seeking experienced QA / QC to join our growing European operations team.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Project Management Team, the QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the project Quality Management Plan and associated procedures.
- Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection requirements.
- Monitor the quality of installation works and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits across the project.
- Prepare, review, and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Check Sheets, and inspection records.
- Coordinate inspections with client representatives, consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and areas for improvement.
- Raise, track, and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Monitor corrective and preventative actions to ensure effective resolution.
- Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are completed and documented correctly.
- Verify that materials and equipment are installed in accordance with approved technical submissions and manufacturer requirements.
- Maintain accurate quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage inspection reports, test certificates, material approvals, and technical documentation.
- Ensure quality documentation is completed, reviewed, and submitted within required timescales.
- Support the preparation of project handover documentation, including O&M manuals, certification, test results, and as-built records.
- Prepare regular quality reports and updates for the Project Management Team.
- Maintain quality trackers and monitor outstanding actions.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific quality procedures and requirements.
- Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client teams regarding quality requirements.
- Attend quality meetings, inspections, and project coordination meetings.
- Support construction teams by providing guidance on quality standards and expectations.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to promote a proactive quality culture.
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with audits and inspections carried out by clients, consultants, and external bodies.
Requirements
- Qualification in Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working in a QA/QC role within the construction, engineering, or M&E sector.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and inspection processes.
- Experience preparing and managing quality documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of project personnel.
