Instrotec Ltd. seeks experienced Site EHS Officers (Junior & Senior) to join the Dresden project team in Germany.

The role focuses on implementing and enforcing health and safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with German and international regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture across all activities. The successful candidates will conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, and collaborate with management, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifikationen

• NEBOSH/ IOSH or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and legislation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work on a fast-paced site environment.
• Knowledge of German health and safety requirements is advantageous.

• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Support development and monitoring of project-specific Health & Safety plans.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action tracking.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workforce communications.
• Monitor safe working practices across all construction activities.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and reports.
• Review RAMS and ensure effective implementation on site.

The Role

As a Site EHS Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing Instrotec's Health & Safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant German and international safety legislation. We are seeking candidates at both Junior and Senior levels, offering opportunities for experienced Safety Professionals as well as those looking to progress their career within a leading construction environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting site teams, and ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across the project.

Requirements

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and legislation.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop within an international project setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or high-tech projects.
• Experience working within an international project environment.
• Knowledge of German Health & Safety requirements is advantageous.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical installation projects is beneficial.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
