You will lead documentation, testing and reporting, run weekly QA/QC meetings, and supervise snagging, handover and close-out processes to support successful delivery of the project.

Qualifikationen

Electrical QA/QC Manager - Dresden, Germany | On-site | 12-18 Month Contract

We're partnering with a leading international engineering and construction contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager for a major industrial development in Dresden.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the delivery team on a large-scale, high-value project, ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the electrical installation and commissioning phases. You'll play a key role in driving quality excellence, working closely with the client, subcontractors, vendors and project leadership to deliver a world-class facility.

The Role:

As the Electrical QA/QC Manager, you will take ownership of all electrical quality assurance and quality control activities on site, ensuring installations comply with project specifications, German and European regulations, and client quality standards.

You will act as the key point of contact for electrical quality, leading inspections, managing documentation and supporting the successful delivery of this complex industrial project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead First of Kind (FOK) walkdowns with the client and project stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on German and European electrical regulations, particularly relating to cable installations, containment systems and electrical installation standards.
• Prepare and manage First of Kind documentation and quality records.
• Produce electrical testing and inspection reports in collaboration with vendors and specialist contractors.
• Chair and lead weekly QA/QC meetings.
• Carry out material delivery inspections alongside the Logistics Manager and, where required, the client.
• Perform quality inspections, snagging activities and oversee the close-out of defects with site teams.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and documentation throughout the electrical installation process.
• Ensure all QA/QC documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with project and client requirements.
• Work closely with construction, commissioning and client teams to ensure successful project delivery.

About You:

We're looking for an experienced QA/QC professional with a proven track record of delivering quality on large, technically complex projects.

• Must be a German speaker and be able to understand technical documentation written in German.
• Proven experience as an Electrical QA/QC Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous experience delivering large-scale Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Industrial Manufacturing projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of German and European electrical regulations, codes and installation standards.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical cable systems, containment installations, inspection and testing procedures.
• Demonstrable experience leading First of Kind (FOK) inspections and client walkdowns.
• Experience producing QA/QC documentation, inspection records and testing reports.
• Strong knowledge of snagging, quality close-out and project handover processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Ability to lead site quality activities within fast-paced EPC, mission-critical or highly regulated project environments.
