Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Frankfurt seeks a Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead major data centre construction projects. You will manage cost, schedule and budgets, oversee substation work, and coordinate general contractor and consultants on site.

Fluent English and at least B2 German are required, with 4+ years in construction project management. Availability for 3–5 days on site is essential; you will run client meetings and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of working experience in project management for construction projects.
• Data Centre construction experience preferred.
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.
• Oversee substation projects (mid-voltage) and coordinate vendors.
• Lead General Contractor and other consultants and ensure deadlines.
• Monitor critical milestones to avoid schedule slips.
• Lead client meetings and reporting.
• Identify drivers of construction costs and report findings.
• Support engineering decisions during design-build changes.
• Review payment requests and project documentation.
• Record events affecting claims and act on the client's behalf.

We are seeking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Team in Frankfurt on major Data Centre construction projects:

• Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.
• Manage substation projects (mid-voltage).
• Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
• Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Run and lead client and other required meetings.
• Identify the factors that influence construction costs and can monitor and report on this data.
• Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
• Review requests for payment.
• Record occurrence that might result in a claim - acting on the client’s behalf.
• Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.

Qualifications

• A constructionrelated academic qualification /degree (e.g. construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture).
• Min. 4yearsof working experiences in project management for construction projects;experiences in Data Centre constructionspreferred.
• Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
• Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task.
• Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
• Fluent in English, min. B2German level.
• Available for 3-5 days working from construction site.
