Zusammenfassung

Personio is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, governance, and cross-functional execution for software development initiatives in Munich. You will coordinate with Product Owners and Team Leads to prioritize work packages, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of project management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in English; German skills are a plus in this role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven track record of at least 3–5 years working as a Project Manager or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of project management frameworks such as Scrum, Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP certification
• Exceptional organizational, time-management, and analytical skills combined with a problem-solving mindset
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and detailed timelines
• Process Compliance: Ensure that projects are executed in strict alignment with the internal product development process
• Gate Coordination: Prepare all necessary content for the gate meetings and coordinate the scheduling and execution timelines with the Program Management
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Team Leads to ensure that project-relevant work packages are prioritized, scheduled, and executed at the right time
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, updates, and risks to team members, stakeholders, and management in a timely and clear fashion
• Risk Management: Identify and resolve issues, manage project risks, and develop contingency plans
• Quality Control: Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and organizational objectives
• Project Closure: Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
