Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Neubiberg is seeking a Project Manager Design System to drive strategies, refine processes, and implement initiatives that empower the business to thrive. You will lead the full project life cycle for the technology platform, coordinate planning and execution, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

For success, candidates should have a degree in a technical field, 5+ years in semiconductors, and strong English

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical field is required.
• Experience in semiconductor environments is essential.
• Knowledge of PDKs, IPs, design flows or EDA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the entire project life cycle for the respective technology platform.
• Apply project management methodology to coordinate planning, target setting, execution and controlling of projects, while monitoring performance, quality, costs and risks.
• Understand relevant functional inter-dependencies.
• Collaborate with internal business lines to ensure timely delivery and adequate functionality.
• Lead effective communication and resolve barriers to achieve agreement.
• Establish and maintain efficiency metrics and reporting.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Manage and control the entire project life cycle for the respective technology platform


• Apply project management methodology to coordinate the planning, target setting, execution and controlling of projects, while keeping an eye on performance, quality, costs and risks


• Have an overview and understanding of the relevant functional inter-dependencies


• Cooperate with various internal business lines partners to ensure proper, in-time delivery and adequate functionality


• Steer effective communication, recognizing barriers to achieve agreement


• Establish and maintain reasonable efficiency metrics and reporting

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Computer Science or a related subject


• At least 5 years of work experience in the semiconductor business


• ideally in an R&D environment with insights into PDKs, foundation IPs, design flows and methodologies or Electronic Design Automation (EDA)


• Experience in project management


• Preferably a project management certification like IPMA or PMPA


• Good sense for intercultural differences


• Excellent English communication skills – with German being a plus
