Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Neubiberg is seeking a Manager Product Quality Management to drive root-cause analysis and transformational improvements, ensuring our products meet top quality, reliability, and performance standards. You will coordinate qualification plans, lead cross-functional teams, and guide risk assessments across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, 5+ years in quality management or related fields (semiconductor preferred),

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Quality Management, Product/Technology Development, or Project Management—semiconductor experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with quality methods (FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, 5 Whys) and strong data analysis.
• Experience with reliability testing is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English and good German required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and approve qualification plans and guide implementation in the reliability lab.
• Lead globally acting Q-teams and collaborate with Marketing, Development, Project Management and production sites.
• Analyze qualification results, prepare reports and communicate with stakeholders.
• Perform project and product-specific risk assessments to support definition and development.
• Serve as quality manager for product lifecycle for designated product groups, driving customer requests and change management.
• Guide problem-solving during quality incidents with developers and manufacturing sites in cooperation with customers.
• Act as a contact partner for quality issues.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop, coordinate and approve qualification plans and guide the implementation in the reliability lab


• Support and lead globally acting Q-teams and collaborate with Marketing, Development, Project Management and our global production sites


• Analyze qualification results, prepare reports and communicate with internal and external stakeholders


• Perform project and product-specific risk assessments (e.g. quality, costs, time) to support product definition and development


• Serve as quality manager for product lifecycle for a designated group of products by driving customer requests, internal change management and incident handling


• Guide problem-solving during quality incidents together with the developers and manufacturing sites in cooperation with customers


• Act as a contact partner for quality issues

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field


• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Management, Product or Technology Development, or Project Management—ideally in the semiconductor industry


• Hands-on experience with quality and problem-solving methods such as FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, and 5 Whys, plus proven data analysis skills, is a strong advantage


• Experience with reliability testing is an advantage


• Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with customers


• Fluent English and good German communication skills
