The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Construction to own end-to-end delivery of large BESS projects in Germany. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee EPC partners, manage planning and risk, and coordinate with grid operators and authorities to drive projects from construction through to commissioning and grid integration.

You will bring 15+ years of construction or energy infra experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of EPC

Qualifikationen

• Strong leadership, negotiation and risk-management skills.
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel across Germany.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager - Construction to take end-to-end ownership of major BESS projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, EPC contractors and key suppliers from construction through to commissioning and grid integration.

This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, technical influence and responsibility for high-value infrastructure projects.

Your Role

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the construction and execution of large-scale stand-alone BESS projects

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide strategic direction to EPC partners

• Own project planning, risk management, HSE, QA/QC, site supervision and interface management

• Manage and coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors and key suppliers

• Act as the senior project representative with grid operators, technical authorities and local stakeholders

• Oversee civil works, MV/HV electrical installation, power electronics and commissioning

• Lead the resolution of critical technical and construction issues

• Manage project costs, contracts, claims, change orders and performance guarantees

• Work closely with finance, legal, procurement, commissioning and asset management teams

• Drive projects through to grid integration and commercial operation

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years as a Project Manager delivering construction projects

• Strong background in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, industrial projects or grid infrastructure

• Proven track record managing complex projects and EPC contractors

• Experience with BESS, HV grid connections, substations, power systems or large-scale EPC projects is highly desirable

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Energy Engineering or a related discipline

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, EPC or comparable contract frameworks

• Experience managing claims, change orders and performance guarantees

• Strong technical, commercial, negotiation and leadership capabilities

• Fluent English

• Willingness to travel frequently across Germany
