Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a technical background to lead complex industrial projects across Germany. You will own projects from planning through execution, coordinating internal teams, suppliers and clients to deliver on time, within budget and to safety standards.

The role requires a engineering degree, hands-on approach, strong MS Office and PM tools proficiency, excellent German and English communication, and the willingness to travel about 70% across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in project management in industrial/engineering/heavy lifting environments.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and PM tools.
• Excellent German and English communication skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with practical, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.
• Willingness to travel ~70% for project assignments.
• Strong teamwork, initiative and adaptability.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a technical background and a passion for complex industrial projects?

For our client, a global leader in engineered heavy lifting and transportation, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the team in Germany and work on several projects across the country. In this role, you will take ownership of technically challenging projects from the initial planning stages through execution and final completion.

You will work on projects across industries including energy transition, industrial construction, petrochemicals and nuclear decommissioning, working closely with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient and innovative solutions.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects, including:

• Managing technically complex projects from planning through execution and close-out.
• Taking responsibility for safety, quality, schedule and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Acting as a technical point of contact for clients and providing on-site support and consultancy.
• Planning and coordinating resources, including personnel, equipment and subcontractors.
• Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across different locations.
• Monitoring project progress and proactively identifying and resolving challenges.
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of project processes and workflows.

You bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical qualification, such as a Technician/Master Craftsman certification.
• Previous experience in project management, ideally within an industrial, engineering, construction or heavy lifting environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
