We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a global technology organisation in the payments sector. The role focuses on managing end-to-end delivery of international technology and business integration projects, coordinating distributed teams across Europe and North America, and ensuring delivery excellence, governance, and alignment with enterprise PMO standards while supporting global teams across US and EMEA time zones (13:00–22:00 working hours).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of technology and business integration projects within the payments domain
• Coordinate distributed teams across Europe, the US, and APAC regions
• Maintain full ownership of project scope, schedule, and budget performance
• Create and maintain project documentation, plans, and risk registers
• Collaborate with architecture, operations, and product teams to align technical roadmaps
• Drive execution in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Prepare detailed progress and financial reports for senior leadership
• Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, and retrospectives across remote teams
• Ensure alignment with enterprise PMO and compliance standards

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in payments, fintech, or banking
• Proven record managing international or distributed project teams
• Strong organisational and communication skills, including stakeholder management at executive level
• Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Prince2, PMBoK)
• Ability to manage medium-to-large projects (100k–1M PLN budget) with cross-functional teams
• Excellent English (written and spoken, C1 level minimum)
• Comfortable working late hours (13:00–22:00) to align with US stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with transaction processing, acquiring, or settlement systems
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, VISA, MasterCard standards)
• Background in post-merger integration or platform migration projects
• Certification such as PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, or AgilePM

• Work in multilingual, multinational and multicultural environment on international projects
