Job summary

g2 Recruitment in Germany seeks an experienced Project Manager for a freelance, on-site assignment in Dresden to lead a flagship construction package for approximately 12 months. Start ASAP and rate is DOE based on experience.

You will coordinate with contractors and site teams, keep the project on programme, monitor safety and quality, and report progress to the wider project team. English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive PM experience in construction or infra projects.
• Able to coordinate contractors on active site.
• Good communication; hands-on and proactive.

Responsibilities

About the project

We're supporting the delivery of a major mission-critical construction project in the Dresden area and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a freelance basis for around 12 months. It's a great opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile, fast-moving build.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of your work package on site
• Keeping the project on programme, coordinating with contractors and site teams
• Working closely with the wider project team to hit key milestones
• Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety on site
• Reporting on status and flagging any issues early

What we're looking for

• Solid experience as a Project Manager on construction, infrastructure, industrial or fit-out projects
• Comfortable coordinating contractors and teams on a live site
• Good communication skills and a hands-on, proactive approach
• Based in or able to work on-site in Dresden
• English essential; German is a plus, not a must

Nice to have (but not essential)

• Data centre or other mission-critical experience
• Freelance/contracting background
