Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction or installation works on site.
• Experience in Data Centre construction or another mission-critical environment.
• Experience with fire detection, ASD, ICT, structured cabling, access control or CCTV systems.
• Experience coordinating installers or subcontractors.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing meetings.
• The ability to identify site issues and communicate them effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily fire and technology system installation works.
• Coordinate a team of approximately 20-36 installers.
• Oversee the installation of ASD, fire detectors, ICT, Cat6a cabling, fibre, access control and CCTV.
• Attend daily site meetings and provide progress updates to the client.
• Identify and report site blockers, constraints and programme risks.
• Coordinate installation activities with the Senior Project Manager and wider project team.
• Monitor site progress and help maintain clear communication across the project.
• Raise issues promptly where they may affect installation or delivery.

Data Centre Construction Project Manager / Engineer

Berlin, Germany | 1 contract position | €600 per day | Expected start: January 2027

We are recruiting a Construction Project Manager / Engineer to support the delivery of fire and technology systems on a major Data Centre project in Berlin.

This is a hands-on site delivery role. You’ll coordinate approximately 20-36 installers, attend daily client-facing site meetings and work alongside a Senior Project Manager as part of the wider project team.

The role

• Fire systems, including ASD and detectors
• ICT infrastructure, including Cat6a outlets and fibre backbone
• Access control
• CCTV

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily fire and technology system installation works
• Coordinate a team of approximately 20-36 installers
• Oversee the installation of ASD, fire detectors, ICT, Cat6a cabling, fibre, access control and CCTV
• Attend daily site meetings and provide progress updates to the client

About you

You may be working as a Construction Project Manager, Project Engineer, Fire Systems Project Manager, ICT Project Manager, Site Manager, Site Engineer or Data Centre Project Manager.

You should have:

• Experience coordinating construction or installation works on site
• Experience in Data Centre construction or another mission-critical environment
• Experience with fire detection, ASD, ICT, structured cabling, access control or CCTV systems
• Experience coordinating installers or subcontractors
• Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing meetings
• The ability to identify site issues and communicate them effectively
