Enemix in Berlin is seeking a Project Manager to lead solar, behind-the-meter BESS and large-scale front-of-meter BESS projects from deployment through delivery. You’ll coordinate subcontractors across Germany, manage cross-disciplinary teams, and travel for site visits, with mid-voltage work and autonomous delivery ownership.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on project delivery, a proven track record managing full lifecycles, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced scale-up.

This is the commercial and industrial arm of one of Europe’s best-known green tech companies, a Berlin-headquartered business that grew from residential solar into a green tech unicorn. Launched in 2023 as an independent unit, the C&I business now runs a team of more than 50 specialists and works with over 150 commercial and industrial customers across Germany.

The business covers two fast-scaling lines: rooftop solar, behind-the-meter storage and EV charging for commercial and industrial clients, and large-scale front-of-meter BESS built for arbitrage trading. The pipeline is substantial, with several hundred front-of-meter battery projects in development alongside a growing C&I book. This is an established, well-backed operation with the pace and autonomy of a scale-up rather than the layers of a traditional IPP.

They are hiring a Project Manager to take projects from deployment through to delivery, and to help absorb a pipeline that is outpacing the current team.

What you’ll do

• Manage solar, behind-the-meter BESS and large-scale front-of-meter BESS projects end-to-end
• Coordinate subcontractors across Germany, keeping delivery on time and to standard
• Move between C&I rooftop and storage work and large-scale front-of-meter BESS
• Carry out site visits where needed, with travel across Germany

• Take real ownership of delivery, with the freedom to run projects independently

What we’re looking for

• Large-scale behind-the-meter BESS delivery, which covers most of what the front-of-meter work requires
• Mid-voltage experience
• A business development or venture mindset alongside solid technical grounding

• Base salary of EUR 80,000 to 90,000, with up to EUR 100,000 for an exceptional profile
