Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a security-focused professional to gather requirements and lead IT security initiatives within its Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology division in Germany. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive complex projects to successful completion.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of experience, and fluent German and English.

• Degree in CS, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least five years of professional experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience leading complex IT or security projects.
• Strong skills in project management and multi-project management.
• Structured, analytical thinker with quick grasp of new concepts.

Your Role

• Gather and structure requirements, and develop professional solutions in close collaboration with specialists.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics (ideally specializing in Cyber Security or IT Security), Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have at least five years of professional experience, preferably within a manufacturing company.
• You have experience leading complex projects, preferably in the IT or security sector.
• You possess excellent, practically proven skills in project management and multi-project management.
• You are motivated to contribute to the implementation of demanding security objectives and to familiarize yourself with relevant specialist areas.
• You demonstrate a structured approach, analytical thinking skills, and a quick grasp of new concepts.
• You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Very good German and English language skills round out your profile.
