Job summary

RxREVU, Inc. seeks a Project Buyer (m/f/d) for full-time in Germany. You will develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies and manage end-to-end sourcing for complex, customer-specific components, collaborating with engineering, project management, and sales teams.

You will negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, coordinate supplier management, and ensure on-time, cost-efficient procurement throughout the project lifecycle. Fluency in German and English is required.

• Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of project-specific procurement strategies and involvement in quotation/calculation phase.
• Managing procurement of project-specific components from supplier selection to delivery monitoring.
• Cooperation with engineering, project management and sales teams to provide procurement expertise.
• Conducting price, contract, and terms & conditions negotiations with national and international suppliers.
• Managing project-related supplier management, including handling complaints and escalations.
• Ensuring cost-effective, quality-oriented and on-time procurement processes.
• Planning and tracking all procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identifying and realizing cost optimization and savings potentials within projects.

• Independently managing the procurement of project-specific special and drawing-based parts - from supplier selection and inquiries through to order placement and delivery monitoring
• Close cooperation with engineering, project management, and sales departments, actively contributing procurement expertise to interdisciplinary project teams
• Conducting price, contract, and terms & conditions negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Managing and continuously developing project-related supplier management, including the coordination of complaints and escalations
• Ensuring cost-effective, quality-oriented, and on-time procurement processes
• Planning, coordinating, and tracking all procurement-related activities throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Identifying and realizing cost optimization and savings potentials within projects

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial degree, for example in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in technical or project-based purchasing, ideally within mechanical or plant engineering
• Strong technical understanding and experience in procuring complex, customer-specific components
• Confident appearance, strong negotiation skills, and excellent communication abilities
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with a high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a team and enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary and international project teams
