YOUR TASKS
- Management of complex product development programs
- New development of seating platforms from concept to approval by the authorities
- Management of large interdisciplinary project teams
- First point of contact for all project questions
- Cooperation with international airlines, Boeing and Airbus
- Ensuring that the project goals are achieved on schedule, on budget and in line with quality and stakeholder expectations
- Creation of project plans including the definition of milestones and responsibilities as well as the delegation and control of work packages
- Continuous monitoring of project progress and timely initiation of solution measures
- Ensuring the flow of information within the international team, with airlines, aircraft manufacturers and licensing authorities
- Active stakeholder management
- Implementation of risk management
- Regular project reporting to the steering committee (including management)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed technical studies (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree), ideally with a specialization in project management
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the project management (aviation industry or comparable)
- In-depth project management knowledge and several years of professional experience
- Several years of experience in product development
- Business fluency in spoken and written English
- Good communication skills
- Very good organizational and coordination skills
- Confident handling of MS-Project, Jira, MS-Office, MS-Teams
- IPMA or PMP certification desirable
