Zusammenfassung

RECARO Aircraft Seating is seeking a Program Manager (m/f/d) for Platform Development in Germany. You will manage complex product development programs from concept to authority approval and lead large interdisciplinary project teams across international partners including airlines and aircraft manufacturers.

You will act as the first contact for project questions, ensure milestones, budgets, and quality expectations are met, and coordinate risks and stakeholder needs.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical studies (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree), ideally with a specialization in project management.
• IPMA or PMP certification desirable.

Aufgaben

• Management of complex product development programs.
• New development of seating platforms from concept to approval by the authorities.

• Cooperation with international airlines, Boeing and Airbus.
• Ensuring that the project goals are achieved on schedule, on budget and in line with quality and stakeholder expectations.

• Continuous monitoring of project progress and timely initiation of solution measures.
• Ensuring flow of information within the international team, with airlines, aircraft manufacturers and licensing authorities.
• Active stakeholder management.
• Implementation of risk management.
• Regular project reporting to the steering committee (including management).

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed technical studies (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree), ideally with a specialization in project management
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the project management (aviation industry or comparable)
• In-depth project management knowledge and several years of professional experience
• Several years of experience in product development
• Business fluency in spoken and written German and English
• Good communication skills
• Very good organizational and coordination skills
• Confident handling of MS-Project, Jira, MS-Office, MS-Teams
• IPMA or PMP certification desirable
