Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our on-site teams in Germany. You will create and manage manufacturing and work orders, monitor aircraft progress, and maintain production documentation and data across SASPF and OPAL.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering with initial experience in manufacturing, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Initial experience in Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Engineering.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• English B2/C1
• German B2/C1
• EU citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage manufacturing and work orders
• Maintain production documentation and material-related data
• Monitor aircraft progress, inspections and maintenance activities
• Manage and validate aircraft data in SASPF and OPAL
• Adapt work orders according to aircraft configuration changes
• Collaborate closely with shopfloor teams and support functions
• Support the coordination and reallocation of aircraft parts and components
