Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) in Germany seeks an Industrial Systems & Manufacturing Engineering Representative to join on-site teams. You will define IS/Manufacturing standards, manage supplier-related IS/ME requirements, and support tender evaluations for strategic projects with Airbus.

Requirements include a degree in Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering, English B2/C1 and German B1/B2, plus citizenship of a European country.

• Hands-on experience with technical documentation, work preparation or contract management.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain IS and Manufacturing Standards across programs.
• Manage IS and ME requirements for supplier development and onboarding.
• Support supplier selection by assessing industrial capabilities during the Call for Tender phase.
• Provide ME expertise for cost reduction, work transfers, and NPI.
• Lead industrialization, cost-saving initiatives and work transfer projects within Procurement MFT.
• Escalate IS/ME operational issues and technical risks to MFT.
• Drive process improvement and external process optimization initiatives.

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Industrial Systems & Manufacturing Engineering Representative to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

Locations include Finkenwerder and other sites across the country.

What you will do

• Define and maintain Industrial Systems (IS) and Manufacturing Standards across all programs to support business strategy

• Manage IS and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) requirements for supplier development and supplier onboarding

• Support supplier selection by assessing industrial capabilities during the Call for Tender (CFT) phase

• Provide ME expertise for cost reduction, work transfers, new product introduction (NPI) and delivery challenges

• Lead and coordinate industrialization, cost‑saving initiatives and work transfer projects within the Procurement MFT

• Escalate critical IS/ME operational issues and technical risks to the MFT

• Drive process improvement and external process optimization initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field

• Relevant hands‑on experience in t echnical documentation / Work preparation / Contract management

• B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.

• B1/B2 German Level – mandatory.

• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
