Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) seeks Ground Control Station System Engineers to join on-site teams in Germany, supporting long-term Airbus projects. Location: Manching. 35-hour week, permanent contract with relocation and language support.

You will define subsystem requirements, manage suppliers, and coordinate across Safety, Certification and RAMT teams, shaping the GCS architecture and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in Safety & Certification, Integration & Verification (I&V) or System Architecture.
• English B2/C1 mandatory; German B1/B2 is a plus; citizenship of a European country required.

Responsabilidades

• Define subsystem requirements and monitor their implementation.
• Manage suppliers, ensuring proposed solutions comply with requirements.
• Contribute to Safety, Certification, RAMT and other transversal activities.
• Contribute to the overall equipment list.
• Harmonize requirements and design with Architects, engineering disciplines and partner companies.
• Support program line with technical assessments if needed.
• Support IV activities.
• Maintain customer contact to refine operational expectations and requirements.

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Ground Control Station System Engineers to join our on-site teams in Germany and support long-term projects with Airbus.

Locations: Manching

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: €50,000 to €65,000 gross per year, plus additional benefits and collective agreement payments

Contract: Permanent German employment contract

What you will do

• Define subsystem requirements and monitor their implementation.
• Manage suppliers, ensuring that proposed solutions comply with requirements.
• Contribute to activities performed by transversal organizations (Safety, Certification, RAMT, etc.).
• Contribute to the overall equipment list.
• Harmonize requirements and design with other Segment/Functional Chain Architects, Engineering disciplines and Partner Companies (consolidation of Physical Budgets, Design Criteria and overall GCS Performance).
• Support the program line with technical assessments (if needed).
• Support IV activities.
• Maintain customer contact to refine operational expectations and requirements.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience in Safety & Certification, Integration & Verification (I&V), or System Architecture
• English B2/C1, mandatory
• German B1/B2 is a plus
