Ocumeda is seeking a Product Owner AI (m/f/d) to own the product's technical specification, backlog, and requirements end-to-end, coordinating with medical, regulatory, and AI teams. You will lead international rollout across markets on our existing platform and ensure MDR-aligned delivery.

Your role at Ocumeda

We are looking for aProduct Owner AI (m/f/d) to take ownership of a new AI-based medical device. You will own the product's technical specification, backlog and requirements end-to-end, from feature scoping through implementation and international roll-out, acting as the central point between our medical, regulatory, and AI team. If you're motivated to take ownership of a product and shape it within a growing MedTech company, this role is for you.

• Own the product end-to-end: from feature scoping through implementation, launch, and international roll-out
• Translate medical and business requirements into clear technical specifications and a prioritized backlog, based on input from users, markets, and internal stakeholders
• Support the MDR process by bringing technical and product input into Regulatory's decisions on intended use, risk, and output presentation
• Own the software requirements specification (SRS) and work closely with our AI team to specify and integrate the MDR-certified AI system into the product
• Work with the product team to bring the device live across multiple markets on our existing platform, adapting to local requirements where needed

• You have a technical background or hands-on experience with software/API specifications, and you're comfortable moving fluidly between technical AI/engineering details and the regulatory, medical, and business perspectives, translating in both directions
• You are motivated to work hands-on in a startup environment, balancing pragmatism with structure
• You take ownership, work in a structured way, and have the drive to push things forward, while collaborating closely with the team.
• You collaborate closely with the medical, regulatory and AI team to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
• You are fluent in English (additional languages are a plus, but not required)
• You bring relevant experience in product management or a comparable role, ideally with exposure to AI products, regulated environments (e.g. MDR), or internationalization
