Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a comparable role.
• Experience with APIs, dashboards and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Confident use of AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot in daily work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong customer focus with commercial understanding and UX sensibilities.
• English at C1 level; German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape the product roadmap for our Charging Ecosystem and integrations.
• Manage API and system integrations with internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with Software, Hardware, Operations and Commercial teams to ensure a seamless charging experience.
• Translate customer and business needs into actionable user stories and product requirements.
• Lead Scrum processes and coordinate work packages with stakeholders.
• Validate UI/UX concepts and iterate with AI tools like Copilot.

Our goal is to provide the right charging infrastructure at the right time and in the right place. As a leading provider of public charging infrastructure in the UK, ubitricity works with municipalities to install and operate charging solutions for electric vehicles in public spaces.

You put the needs of electric vehicle drivers at the center of all product decisions. You are responsible for further developing our ecosystem services and integrations and ensure that the charging experience runs smoothly from plugging in the charging cable to successful payment. In doing so, you connect internal teams, markets and external partners to create a high-performing ecosystem that promotes customer satisfaction, operational excellence and sustainable growth. You further develop key components, services and integrations of our Charging Ecosystem and ensure that they create measurable value for drivers and the company. You are responsible for the budget for development and design initiatives in your product area. You manage API and system integrations with internal teams as well as external partners and suppliers and ensure a seamless customer journey. You work closely with the Software, Hardware, Operations and Commercial teams to create a first-class charging experience. You proactively identify customer needs, operational challenges and market opportunities and derive new product improvements and initiatives from them. You prioritize requirements based on customer value, business value and strategic relevance in an environment with numerous stakeholders. You translate customer, business and technical requirements into clear user stories and actionable product requirements. You support iterative product development and pilot projects and empower local markets with suitable tools, documentation and processes. You work closely with engineers to clarify requirements, make decisions and find pragmatic solutions. You are responsible for the quality of your product area and continuously optimize how products are developed, delivered and operated. You facilitate Scrum processes in the development team and coordinate work packages with internal stakeholders. You develop and validate new UI/UX concepts directly in our applications with the support of modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot before they are technically implemented.

At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a comparable role, ideally in electric mobility, energy, IoT or hardware-software ecosystems. Technical understanding beyond traditional reporting and spreadsheet tools. You work confidently with APIs, dashboards and low-code or no-code platforms, without having to write production code yourself. Confident use of AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot in your day-to-day work. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring technical and non-technical audiences together. Strong customer focus and strong commercial understanding, with the ability to make product decisions from the user's perspective and with economic considerations in mind. An analytical and data-driven approach combined with high standards for quality and UX. Proven experience identifying opportunities, developing solutions and independently driving projects from idea to implementation. Enjoyment of complex service and platform environments with many internal and external stakeholders. A pragmatic, collaborative and adaptable personality.
