Döhler is seeking a Product Developer (m/f/d) for Alcoholic Beverages. You will create base formulations for cider, spirits and liqueurs, select materials, and generate product samples to support customers and internal projects.

You will work with colleagues across market segments, contribute to trend implementations, and ensure regulatory compliance. Fluent German and English are required for collaboration in a global team.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years professional experience in beverage/product development.
• Degree in brewing/beverage technology or food technology.
• Knowledge of ingredients and relevant technologies.
• German and English language proficiency.

The Role

• Developing base formulations and applications for the alcoholic beverage sector (cider & cider mixes, spirits & liqueurs, etc.)
• Selecting suitable raw materials and providing advice on internal and external inquiries regarding existing products and new product concepts
• Independently producing product samples
• Supporting new and existing customer projects and independently coordinating customer workshops
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in relevant market segments and participating in the implementation of new trends
• Taking food regulatory aspects into account
• Providing technical and operational support for scale-up processes and in our pilot plant

The Profile

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in product development, particularly in the production, development, and marketing of beverages or food products
• Degree in brewing and/or beverage technology, food technology, or comparable training/further education (e.g., certified technician)
• Knowledge of the ingredients and technologies relevant to the area of responsibility
• Dynamic and results-oriented approach to tackling challenges
• Positive and innovative personality
• Organized and detail-oriented working style, team spirit, and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of SAP
• Working languages: German and English
