Siemens Energy is seeking a procurement leader for direct materials in the Large Gas Turbines area. You will head a global purchasing team of more than six professionals and drive KPI-based performance measurement across purchasing.

You’ll shape supplier selection and oversee the outcomes of price and contract negotiations, collaborating closely with strategic procurement. The role requires a completed degree in economics, business administration, or engineering, plus long-term purchasing

• Experience working with data and analyses, such as in controlling, purchasing, or IT is valuable.
• Business-fluent English skills.

High load requirements in the supply chain demand a high level of expertise and an early response to changes in markets and suppliers. Continuous changes in delivery situations require prompt action, with the objective of safeguarding Gas Turbines projects.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You are responsible for the procurement of direct material for the Procurement Large Gas Turbines area
• You lead a global purchasing team of more than 6 employees
• You manage the process of target definition and performance measurement in purchasing based on KPIs
• Together with strategic procurement, you define supplier selection and are responsible for implementing the results of price and contract-negotiations

• Completed degree in economics or business administration or engineering
• Long‑term purchasing experience
• Motivation, decisiveness, and openness to new approaches
• Strong team-player mindset
• Professional experience in working with data and analyses, for example in controlling, purchasing, or IT
• Business‑fluent English skills

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
