Hack Formenbau GmbH in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany, seeks a Process Engineer / Plastics in the Technical Center (m/f/d) to run and validate sample injections on modern machines. You will collaborate with mold design and project teams, set up and commission molds, and perform failure analyses to optimize processes.

Travel domestically and internationally is required for customer samples and tests. This role joins a family‑run, innovative company with advanced equipment and clear opportunities

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship in plastics/rubber processing or equivalent technical training.
• Several years of experience in injection molding and process optimization.
• Strong teamwork and customer focus with good communication skills.
• Extensive experience in mold commissioning and knowledge of materials and mold tech.

• Independently conducting sample runs and validations on injection molding machines.

Process Engineer / Plastics in the Technical Center (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Independently conducting sample runs and validations on modern injection molding machines
• Working closely with mold design, mold assembly, and project management
• Independently setting up, adjusting, and commissioning injection molds
• Independently conducting failure analyses and developing appropriate process and mold optimizations
• Conducting and overseeing customer sample runs
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support customer sample runs, mold acceptance tests, and commissioning.

Your profile

• A successfully completed apprenticeship as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, a plastics technologist, or a comparable technical training program
• Several years of experience in injection molding and process optimization
• Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and a strong customer focus
• Extensive experience in the commissioning of injection molds, as well as in-depth expertise in materials, mold technology, and the entire injection molding process.
