Principal Physical Design Application Engineer

This client is seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer to join a leading-edge team working on cutting-edge digital implementation and sign-off technologies in Munich.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in backend digital design implementation and signoff
• Guide customers in utilising advanced design technologies to meet performance, power, and area (PPA) targets and project timelines
• Complete technical presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations to showcase solutions
• Work closely with R&D to influence tool development

Requirements

• Bachelor or master’s in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in 6+ successful tapeouts
• Expert across the Physical Design flow
• Experience working at advanced nodes
• Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl
• Experience with Cadence tools is preferable but not essential
• Fluent in German is desirable but not essential
