Qualifications

• University degree (Master/Diploma) completed.
• Certifications in risk management are preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000.
• Multiple years of experience in risk management or related fields.
• Strategic thinker with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Your role at a glance

Act as an Enterprise Risk Management expert across NTT Global Data Centers (GDC), strategically and conceptually driving the effective operation and continuous improvement of the global Risk Management framework. The role manages cross-functional stakeholder engagement, builds strong relationships across GDC, and supports the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Proper and proactive Risk Management for GDC in compliance with ISO 31000.
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the instructional documentation for Risk Management (e.g., Risk Guideline).
• Management and improvement of the GDC Risk Register, providing transparency to risk and mitigation owners and ensuring regular and effective risk reviews.
• Provide regular risk reporting and effective support to Risk Committees, including the assessment and prioritization of significant risk topics and the facilitation of appropriate follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Regular and event-based preparation and review of risk assessments and the Annual Risk Report.
• Manage and improve standardized Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessments (TVRA) for GDC data centers and their review.
• Prepare and review Risk Report for Clients and Business Partners.
• Act as a trusted Risk Management partner to GDC functions and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization and providing practical risk advice.
• Advise and constructively challenge risk and mitigation owners on the identification, assessment, treatment and monitoring of relevant risks.
• Support functions in embedding effective Risk Management practices into their responsibilities, decision-making and business processes.
• Manage complex, cross-functional risk analyses and assessments and translate it into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk measures and follow-up activities in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively identify, assess and communicate emerging risk developments and their potential implications for GDC.
• Ensure Risk Management audit readiness and provide senior-level support for internal and external audits as well as complex commercial requests relating to clients, contracts and audits.
• Support the automation and simplification of Enterprise Risk Management processes, leveraging modern AI capabilities and automation tools.
• Manage strategic Risk Management projects and workstreams.
• Support the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk with risk insights, stakeholder engagement and the further development of Enterprise Risk Management, while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Knowledge & Attributes

• Successfully completed university degree (Master/Diploma).
• Professional training or certifications in risk management or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of ISO standard 31000.
• Multiple years of professional experience in risk management or a closely related field (strategy, audit, finance or project risk)
• Strategically thinking individual with a structured and target-oriented approach, always looking for a solution.
• Comfort with numbers, Excel and AI Technology.
• Audit experience desirable.
• Willingness to work across functions in an international and dynamic environment.
• Ability to adapt and work independently with a high degree of stress tolerance.
• Strong relationship-builder and communicator, both internally and externally.
• Self-motivation and an ability to work on one's own initiative.
• Fluent in English. Multilingual skills, especially German, are an advantage.
