Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Neubiberg, Germany, is seeking a Principal Engineer Functional Verification to shape the future of technology. You will lead verification across the full development cycle, own verification plans, and drive IP and SoC verification (UVM).

You will build scalable verification environments, develop testbenches for digital and mixed-signal models, and guide debugging with root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of ASIC verification experience with end-to-end ownership of IP/SoC verification activities.
• Strong expertise in UVM and verification EDA toolchain, AMS verification and cross-skill development.
• Solid understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and security standards (ISO 21434) is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in Python, Tcl, or comparable scripting languages.
• Proven experience applying AI/ML technologies to improve engineering efficiency and productivity.
• Technical team lead or project management experience is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are an advantage.

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
