Zusammenfassung

Utimaco IS GmbH is seeking a PreSales Engineer to drive innovative cybersecurity solutions in Düsseldorf or Aachen. You will sell products and services, determine customer requirements, and support deals from initial engagement to closure.

The role requires a university degree in engineering, business or computer science and a strong 5+ year IT/security industry background with customer focus. Flexible working options and international collaboration are offered.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in engineering, business, computer science or similar related fields.
• Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in technical sales or IT/Technology/Information Security.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/Technology/Information Security with customer-centric focus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Service and solution sales knowledge.
• Service Lifecycle Management, SLAs, deployment scenarios.
• Knowledge of market trends (e.g. XaaS, Cloud, Virtualization, Digitalization).

Aufgaben

• Sell products, solutions and standard services with ownership of individual sales opportunities and profitability.
• Drive product, solution and service-related sales activities per account plans.
• Identify technical requirements and map to Utimaco products and partners, provide demonstrations.
• Advance new business and opportunities to deal closure.
• Negotiate prices, contract lengths and terms for non-standard engagements.
• Focus on outsourcing large and complex PRS and MS deals.

Responsibilities

• Sell products, solutions and standard services with the overall responsibility for individual sales opportunities and profitability of products, solutions and services
• Drive and execute on product, solution and service-related sales activities according to agreed and commonly developed account plans as owner of client accounts
• Determine technical requirements, match them to products and solutions offered by Utimaco and Utimaco’s partners, and provide product demonstrations and integration assistance
• Drive new business and individual opportunities to deal closure
• Identify and sell solutions and services related upgrades, contract renewals and change requests. For non-standard product engagements (ie, Professional Services), including negotiation of prices, contract length and Terms and Conditions requirements
• Typically focusing on Outsourcing of large and complex PRS and MS deals
  

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, business, computer science or similar related fields
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, most preferably in technical sales or other relevant experience within IT, Technology, and/or Information Security industry
• A minimum of 5 years of experience within the IT, Technology and/or Information Security industry with a passion of customer centricity and technology.
• High degree of business acumen in regards to sales skills, pricing strategies and financial management
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Service and solution sales knowledge
• Service specific knowledge (e.g. eSIM, Cloudpay)
• Service Lifecycle Management, SLAs, deployment scenarios
• Market trends (e.g. XaaS, Cloud, Virtualization, Digitalization)
