Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) in Germany seeks a PMO Manager for Combat Air Systems to join on-site teams in Manching or other sites. The role includes programme & project management, risk and opportunity management, planning and scheduling, performance reporting, governance, and change control.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in aerospace or related field, English B2/C1, German C1, and European citizenship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or Business Informatics or a related field.
• Knowledge of PMO, Risk Management, Project Scheduling, Performance Reporting, Stakeholder Management, Change Control.
• B2/C1 English level – mandatory.
• C1 German level – mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Programme & Project Management: PMO support for complex Combat Air programmes (e.g., Eurofighter).
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Lead risk analysis, mitigation plans, and opportunity tracking across the full lifecycle.
• Planning & Scheduling: Manage project schedules, schedule risk assessments, and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Performance & Reporting: Monitor project performance, provide KPIs, reporting, and decision‑support data.
• Stakeholder & Governance: Ensure effective stakeholder management, communication, and maturity gate reviews.
• Scope, Cost & Change Control: Integrate requirements, resources, costs, and manage configuration and change processes.
