Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) seeks a Project Manager to drive transformation, process optimization and high-impact projects in engineering environments across Germany. The role focuses on bridging operations with standardized processes and leading cross-functional initiatives, including SAP implementations.

The candidate will translate business needs into roadmaps, manage scope and budgets, and support data-driven decisions with KPIs and dashboards. On-site work in Germany is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Diploma in Business, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Engineering or similar.
• English B2+ - mandatory
• German C1 - mandatory
• Availability to work on-site in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Bridge current operations with future standardized processes and drive efficiency improvements.
• Translate business needs into clear project roadmaps with defined priorities.
• Lead transformation and harmonization initiatives (incl. SAP) across multiple functions.
• Deliver impactful improvement projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Manage cross-functional teams, governance, risks and stakeholders.
• Support data-driven decisions through KPIs, dashboards and performance tracking.
