You will program with Siemens TIA Portal and TwinCAT 3, commission hardware and software, and collaborate with multiple technical teams to ensure dependable operation.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, plus several years of PLC programming experience and strong German and English

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer (m/f/d).

• Development of system-specific PLC programs for special-purpose machines and automated systems
• Programming with Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCAT 3
• Participation in the development and refinement of a company-wide PLC framework
• Commissioning of hardware and software components, particularly PLCs, safety controllers, and HMI systems
• Conducting functional tests and assisting with technical acceptance testing
• Analysis and troubleshooting of malfunctions, as well as optimization of existing machines and systems
• Adapting and further developing existing control programs
• Close collaboration with electrical design, mechanical design, assembly, and commissioning teams
• Documentation of the developed software solutions and technical changes

What you should bring

• A completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Alternatively, a completed electrical engineering apprenticeship with further training to become a state-certified technician or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in PLC programming, ideally in special-purpose machine or plant engineering
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and TwinCAT 3
• Experience in commissioning PLCs, safety control systems, and HMI systems
• Ideally, experience with machines and systems in the wood processing industry or a comparable industrial environment
• Strong IT skills and a keen technical understanding
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
