Job summary

HireHi is seeking an experienced SRE/DevOps engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production infrastructure in Berlin. You will design robust, highly available architectures and investigate complex incidents.

You will embed SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, post-mortems), build CI/CD pipelines and IaC, and develop an observability strategy across monitoring and logging. Collaboration with software engineers is essential to enhance service resilience and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience running production workloads on cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of Linux and distributed systems.
• Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Strong CI/CD experience.
• Practical Kubernetes and container experience.
• Experience building monitoring and observability.
• Understanding of SRE principles and incident handling.
• Ability to modernise older infrastructure thoughtfully and pragmatically.

Responsibilities
