Senior Site Reliability (SRE)/DevOps Engineer
Berlin / Hybrid | Full-time
Build, improve and own the infrastructure behind a growing technology business.
We're partnering with an established software company that is entering an exciting period of technical growth.
They're looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who wants more than simply keeping production running. This is a role for someone who enjoys getting to the root of difficult infrastructure problems, improving systems properly and having a genuine influence on how technology is built and operated.
You’ll take ownership of a predominantly cloud-based infrastructure environment, working across cloud, hosted and on-premise systems while helping drive the transition towards a more modern, scalable and cloud-native platform.
There’s plenty to get your teeth into - from reliability and observability to automation, infrastructure as code and modernising existing systems.
You’ll have a high level of ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to make a visible impact across the engineering organisation.
Your work will include:
We’re looking for someone with around 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar role.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience with hybrid/on-premise environments or security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 would be a bonus.
This isn’t a position where you’ll simply inherit a perfectly polished platform and spend your time maintaining it. You’ll be joining at a point where there is real scope to improve things.
You’ll have the freedom to question how things are currently done, introduce better approaches and work alongside experienced engineers to shape the future infrastructure environment.
If you’re an experienced SRE, Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer who enjoys solving difficult problems, improving reliability and having a genuine say in how infrastructure evolves, this is a role worth exploring.
